Lord Jesus help this man
Year 1 Week 4
Campaign: Week 72
The progression of the lord's ventures are starting to show. My compatriots are polished to a mirror. Their resolves liken to oak, has they now steer down Lord's ruined family manor. Their intentions crystal, I am sure the lord is eager to plumb the depths of his ancestor's delirium. I must admit the accounts of the records has peaked my curiosity, cruelly presenting me shard of the events that transpired here. Though time will tell, and I have my own cross to carry. I would trek through the rotten moors of the courtyard again in search answers only the blood could provide.
If you camp in nsecret room, you will not trigger ambush, unless they patched it out, bit I think it is safe.
i love how dexter is too small to actually get hugged i the animation for heals
Friendly advice: make a beeline for the Cartographer's Camp district. You get the benefits of pitch black runs with none of the drawbacks.
to answer your question about the Trinkets on your Antiquarian. The Martyr's Halo and Last Light are mod items from the Incandescent Whisperer, the mod that gives you the Mendicant Friar boss.
the group of spiders have killed more of my party members than bosses have
I never clicked so fast at the update. XD
Might wanna do some more Sunward Isles before the other areas since it's still level 4 and other areas are level 5. Plus I'm still curious about the Red Seal Ship district that you need Sunward Seals to get. It says it generates 1-2 Red Seals per day but I wonder what they're used for, other Sunward Isles districts? Unique charms? Maybe you can exchange them for heirlooms or more powerful event characters.
At last Odd stop touching every curio when he see it.
Ive probably lost more heroes to spiders than i have any other critter. Those bites can be nasty. And if they crit the blights can be equally nasty.
Large Ectoplasms don't SPLIT so much as they BUD--if they were to split, you would be left with two-three regular Ectoplasms and no Large.
Think the antiquarian group heal makes her a bit OP.
I love your videos and I absolutely love darkest dungeon and you make every dungeon run fun but you seriously need to fucking manage your supplies better..... I get fucking infuriated when you throw away herbs at the fucking weald where there are corpses which provide ample healing material trough food...
A Page from the Journal of Lumi Medved, the Musketeer (Week 72)
"I write this entry feeling a mixture of emotions. Emotions I should not feel nor though I had after enduring this hamlet for so long. So many moons have passed with seasons falling as the abominations before us. Yet I am taken back by what unfolded before me.
An expedition venturing forth into the hamlet's grounds with not a single torch between them. Their only source of comforting light the firewood with which to camp. Has the Owner forgotten those who have fallen? Does he expect them to rise like the knight not so long ago? As I ponder over this all I am left wondering more. I fear that the Owner might become overconfident once more and who would pay the price then?
Perhaps my concern is misguided. Perhaps it is clouded by the fact one of my own is venturing forth next. I am unsure if she follows the path of Brimstone and Fire, but for her own sake, I hope she does. These are troubling times ahead or maybe it is merely a foolish worry."
I feel it you want to do a dark antiquarian run where enemies are harder and you have LESS damage output- you SERIOUSLY need a real healer!
Also- why would you not take a rare artifact 2 rooms from the end over starting a new gold stack with 250 gold? even if you filled it within 2 rooms which you WONT- that artifact was probably worth more! Dont forget their sale value not just if you'd use it.
Totally wasn't sat here hitting refresh on my sub box or anything...
Might be fun to try that Daruma with the Houndmaster's Hound's Harry ability, to see if you can get the increased crit chance on all four at once.
Great videos, mate! I like your content! :)
A question: Do you call the 'Cudgel Weight' trinket the 'Cudgel Widget' on purpose or...?
In any case, you make me laugh. :)
Keep up the good work!
P.S. Greetings from Finland!
yes, dark runs are my favorite :)
Love the series! You made me come back to DD and with some mods! Makes the game fun! Keep it up! Would love to have like 5 episodes a day!
Does he know that some specific enemies benefit from darkness?
Odd at 23:36 summing the devil: “666 - he’s dead.”
I am glad I stumbled upon this series some while ago.
Packs Stop Night time ambush trinket.
Instinct kicks in that the first camping skill you use is to stop night time ambush.
So I'm not to sure why do a dark run I see it yields more rewards but is it worth the rewards?
Stuff like this is why I never finished Darkest Dungeon. At high levels it becomes basically random. Attacks just bring you to death's door from full out of nowhere. Stops being fun and tactical and starts being luck based.
Odd: Prevents Nighttime Ambush with a skill
The Last Light: “Am I a joke to you?”
gosh, so many clutches :D
Chris is like "I don't say holy shit often, but when i do, it's because of a 38 damage crit from a spider"
Been waiting for the new episode
Well, to be fair, you're in literal darkness.
I'd recommend not taking antiquarians to lvl 5 dungeons. Ever. Lvl 3 too, actually. The income increase is negligible, if it even exists, and lvl 1 runs have a much lower risk of killing a hero in one round. When you have the chance ditch the antiquarians you have and hire some low level ones.
so crit heals are actually hard-coded into the game: aoe heal is at 5% and single target is 12% (i could be wrong)
Also if you camp in the secret room you are immune to night time ambush FYI
